- Location Freedom – you can be based anywhere in the world or be travelling the world all the time – the choice is yours!
- Time Freedom – you work whenever you want – no more 9-to-5 – no boss – no office!
Wow! Isn’t that wonderful? BUT, is it real?
The good news is that it is absolutely real and there are thousands of people worldwide who are already living their dream lives.
So, how does one achieve ‘The Freedom Lifestyle’ ?
That’s the million dollar question!

Ok, but before I share the details with you, let’s delve a bit more into ‘The Freedom Lifestyle’.
The internet is littered with thousands of programs that paint a pretty picture; working online with your laptop, travelling the world, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, savouring great food and wine, and basically doing whatever you want, whenever you want, with no one to answer to, and making it all look seemingly attainable without too much effort!
That’s the picture!
The truth is, those who are living such a lifestyle had to work really hard for several years before they were able to do that.
And that is primarily the problem for people who try to start an online business to make enough money to live that lifestyle.
They think making money online is easy – it is NOT. It takes time and a lot of consistent effort.
They also underestimate what it takes to be successful online, no matter what type of online business it is.
They also underestimate the initial and on-going cost of having an online business and many fail because they literally ran out of money.

Digital Nomads and ‘The Freedom Lifestyle’
The digital nomad movement has been growing world wide in the last decade. The early batches of digital nomads were mainly adventurous millennials (Gen Y group).
The current breed of digital nomads now include the Gen X group, some baby boomers, and even whole families travelling the world for long periods, supported mainly by income derived online.
It’s a changing world with more and more people changing their lifestyle.
Majority of these people maintain a blog with additional online stores to generate multiple streams of income that sustains their lifestyle.
Blogs are mostly focused on a particular niche, with many being in the ‘How to Start a Blog’ niche or ‘How to Make Money Online’ niche that offer an eBook or an online course for sale.
Blogs also commonly generate income from sales of affiliate products and services that bloggers write about while others earn from advertising including display and pay-per-click ads.
Now then…
Can you just replicate what these people are doing and then start living the same lifestyle as them?
Sure you can, but it is not going to happen overnight!
Let’s say you decide to start a blog – how would you go about it?
- you will probably start by learning what needs to be done and you will likely purchase some eBooks or online courses
- you will need to identify a profitable niche which you’re passionate about, otherwise it would be a real struggle
- you then need an appropriate domain name that suits the niche or use your own name to brand yourself
- you will need appropriate hosting where you can setup your new blog based on WordPress
- you then need to customize your blog to create a unique look and feel
- you then need to publish several relevant articles or blog posts related to specific keywords in the chosen niche
- you will also need to implement a way to capture leads to build your email list
- you will also need some sort of email marketing automation service
- and last but not least, you need to drive massive targeted traffic to your new blog
Holy crap! That sounds like a lot of work I hear you say – well if you were expecting a stroll in the park, you’re mistaken!
Let me tell you the truth.
After doing all the above (which will cost you some money and a fair amount of time), it will still take you several months before you can generate any substantial income online.
Most people give up too easily after a few weeks because they failed to quickly generate any income.
They lose confidence and belief, and they just give up and start looking for something else that offer an easier path to their financial freedom.
Have you been in that position before? If you have, don’t worry. You’re not alone!
Over the years I have come across many who had given up and it is not their fault. They were NOT told the truth about what needs to be done or what to expect. Most were sold ‘shiny objects’ that turned out to be an illusion, and many have lost their hard earned money.
No matter what business you do online, there is one ingredient you MUST HAVE and that is TARGETED TRAFFIC!
It doesn’t matter if it is a blog or a storefront or how well designed it is – all that will come to nothing if you do not know how to drive targeted traffic to your blog or storefront.
Why is targeted traffic so important?
It’s common sense really. Imagine a butcher – what good is a plane load of vegetarians to the butcher?
Absolutely zilch!
So when you drive traffic to your blog or storefront online, it is the same. Without the right traffic you will not see any conversion!
This aspect of having an online business is probably the toughest to crack for anyone trying to make money online.
And unless you have deep pockets, you will have little to no chance of beating the big advertisers who are eyeing the same traffic as you.
And for those who manage to drive targeted traffic, it still takes anything between 6 – 12 months to generate a steady $1,000 a month income, which is definitely nowhere near what you need to live ‘The Freedom Lifestyle’.
You need at least a steady monthly income of $7,000 if you are single, or at least $15,000 if you’re a family of 4, if you wish to travel and live comfortably.
But how long is it going to take to build up to that sort of steady income? I am sure you want to start living that lifestyle like yesterday right?
Fret not…
There’s an alternative approach that will solve all the problems I have highlighted above.
I want you to forget everything you know, or have learnt, about making money online and start with a clear and open mind.
